Rube Goldberg Machine

Made a Rube Goldberg machine for physics class. Here's a 3d model of part of it. I didn't render the dominoes or mousetraps.
Orthographic and perspective views both there.

Oops!

I didn't manage to update yesterday, because I was working on a physics project all night.

Here is a weird face to make up for it:

Another update coming tonight!

Got my tablet back

It's not great, but it's not bad for my first time using a tablet in months.

Walking Animation

It's not great, but here's a walking animation I made following a tutorial:

I think this is 7 days in a row without missing an update!
But does anyone actually read this?

Eye Tracking

Eye tracking is pretty easy to do. You just define an object or bone to track, and which axes to use when calculating rotation. Then I had a burst of inspiration, and decided to make the head swivel too. It rotates using the same guidelines, but with influence set to 30% so it doesn't move as much:

These upload a lot faster when I've had a chance to convert them from a ~70mb AVI to a ~130kb WMV. The treasure chest one I posted before was made on a different computer, which didn't have Sony Vegas, so I couldn't convert the file.

Rigging Pretty Much Done

Rigging is just about done! Some little issues where I messed up the vertex groups a teeny bit. Rendered at 1920x1200 with 6 levels of subsurfing because my computer is that awesome.
